Lilliam Rodriguez, PhD
Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Lilliam Rodriguez is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 14 years of experience in the treatment of developmental trauma, substance use disorders, personality disorders, depression, and anxiety. She provides in-person therapy at Nest’s Greenwich, CT office and offers telehealth services to clients in Connecticut, New York, and most other states nationwide.

Lilly brings to her work a deep commitment to restoring dignity, agency, and meaning in the face of suffering—an ethos shaped by her early work in intensive clinical settings where she witnessed how dehumanizing systems could compound the pain of trauma. This led her to pursue a therapeutic approach rooted in compassion, collaboration, and the inherent worth of every person she works with.

Known for her non-judgmental, open-hearted presence, Lilly offers a grounded and attuned space for healing, especially for those navigating complex family dynamics or life-stage transitions. She has particular expertise in working with young adults, parents, couples, and individuals who may have felt pathologized or misunderstood in previous care. Her clinical stance reflects a profound respect for the resilience it takes to seek support—and a belief that symptoms are often creative attempts at self-preservation, rather than signs of dysfunction.

Lilly has held leadership roles across residential and outpatient behavioral health programs, where she built a reputation for clinical excellence, thoughtful collaboration, and high ethical standards. Whether working one-on-one or consulting with multidisciplinary teams, she remains deeply committed to helping clients identify not only psychological and practical solutions—but also spiritual or existential insights that foster a greater sense of wholeness.

Her therapeutic approach draws from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her current clinical inquiry focuses on integrating Polyvagal Theory to better understand how behavioral change is shaped by the nervous system.

Lilly is devoted to honoring the full humanity of those she works with, affirming and celebrating each client’s racial, ethnic, gender, sexual, and spiritual identities as essential to the healing process.
